My Bio
Hi, I'm going to try and keep this short and sweet.
I am South African, I moved to Australia in 2004.
I am currently studying Wildlife Conservation and Biology at ECU. I absolutely adore animals, which is why they are seen in almost all of my pieces. Art is my escape. Quite literally out of everything I've been through it is the most important part of who I am.
Thank you for taking the time to check this out. Hope you like my style. X
Every artist picks up on the imperfections of their work, and so every artist is insecure about their work at some stage. There's a part of the artist that sinks inside when something goes wrong. It's the struggle between art and emotions to give the world something breathtaking. The messed up pieces of a masterpiece are what make it worth while. I've messed up, it's disappointing but the outcome will be spectacular. x

Ink Obsession

So I started experimenting with bottles of ink, splattering them onto white paper to see what I could do. And the moment I saw the splashes of colour on a piece of white paper, I couldn't help but fall in love with the idea of hand painting ink onto a canvas. It took me a whole year to develop my method of getting multicoloured art onto a canvas. I used to paint onto paper and then apply that onto a canvas. Now I can actually paint directly onto a canvas thanks to a new method provided by the intern
